As COVID-19 continues to spread in our region and as measures to contain it and protect our communities remain in effect, Interact for Health has decided to suspend the use of its conference center indefinitely.
The closure takes effect immediately. All scheduled events will be canceled.
For more than 17 years, Interact for Health has offered conference facilities to local nonprofits as a way to create community connections through meetings, retreats, workshops and conferences. While we acknowledge that this will be an inconvenience to meeting organizers and attendees, we feel this step is necessary to protect the health of our visitors and staff.
Interact for Health will be moving to a new location in the next 6 to 12 months, and the new location will not have a conference center. Clients should begin to identify new venues for their meeting needs.
If you have specific questions about conference center services, please contact Rachel McKinney, Senior Director, Conference Center and Education, at 513-458-6632; or Maurice B. Stewart, Conference Center and Education Manager, at 513-458-6680.
Interact for Health regularly conducts research and collects data in order to monitor and evaluate our region’s health status and to measure public opinions about health policy.
Our Health in Action stories highlight the innovative work our grantees are doing to help reduce tobacco use, address the opioid epidemic and ensure that children can access health care through school-based health centers. We also interview people working on those issues at other organizations across the country to learn what works for them.
