Fourteen out of 20 counties in Interact for Health's service area are considered rural. To be eligible for funding through the Rural Strategy, organizations must serve the following counties:
Eligible rural organizations may apply for grants between $10,000 - $100,0000. Grant applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis for a total of up to $800,000 annually. This RFP encourages local solutions to local challenges and empowers communities to drive change. The grant also serves as an avenue to explore new points of engagement and form partnerships. As part of the launch of our rural investment strategy, Interact for Health hosted a series of networking events for community members to meet with our team and learn more about this strategy and grant opportunities.
Interact for Health is convening community councils in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana to inform grantmaking efforts and provide feedback on the Rural Investment Strategy.
